With the re-launch of the CET website on Monday, it was assumed that all will be well. However, many students who managed to register themselves last Tuesday, before the website crashed, have been voicing their discontent regarding mistakes in their uploaded forms.

Initially, the registration for the optional CET for the first-year junior college admissions in Maharashtra commenced on July 20. However, owing to technical issues, the website was shut. The website reopened on Monday and those who were able to register themselves earlier were asked to utilize their application form numbers to check their eligibility.

According to reports, however, many students in the city have been complaining about being registered in different wards from that of their residence. Parents and students are worried that this fallacy may result in their exam centre being far from their home, cite reports.

Additionally, even after entering Aadhar details, which includes the address, different wards have been given to the students. Apart from this, issues in email addresses in their application was also reported by some. All of this, possess a big concern to the applicants.

With the last date of registration on 2 August, the authorities have, based on reports, acknowledged the complaints received and have assured of the mistakes being addressed.
