Andheri - "A child without education is like a bird without wings." Social activist and local resident Virendra Khedekar has taken this adage to heart. Khedekar has taken on the responsibility of six-year-old Manali Pawar's education. Manali is currently studying in the second standard, but her family's financial troubles could have cast a shadow on her education. Khedekar stepped in to deposit her school fees and has said will continue to do so. Khedekar works for the Struggle organisation.
