The results of higher secondary i.e. 12th have been declared on Tuesday and 92.08 percent students have passed in Thane district this year. Although this year's result is less than last year, girls have won this year too. 94.07 percent girls have passed in the district. So, this year the result of science branch is highest i.e. 97.05 percent


The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education declared the Class XII result of the year 2023-24 on Tuesday. Secondary education officer Lalita Dahitule informed that the result of Thane district this year is 92.08 percent. This year, a total of 97,662 students appeared for the 12th examination from Thane district. Out of them 89,935 students have passed. 45,655 boys and 44,280 girls are included in the 89,935 students passed in the district. Murbad taluka in the rural area of the district has got the highest result this year and 98.01 percent of students have passed. 1,965 students of Murbad taluka appeared for the 12th exam. Out of these 1,926 students have passed. This includes 939 boys and 987 girls.

This year, the highest result of the science branch i.e. 97.05 percent has been obtained in the district. Out of 39,031 students, 37,881 students passed from this branch. The result of the commerce branch is 91.34 percent and 41,216 students out of 45,119 students have passed from this branch. So, the result of the arts branch is 79.39 percent. 12,663 students appeared for the examination from this branch.


Out of them 10,054 students have passed. The result of the higher secondary business course is 93.66 percent. 568 students appeared for this course exam. Out of them 532 students have passed. Along with that, the result of the course of technology science stream was 89.67 percent and 281 students appeared for this course exam. Out of them 252 students have passed.
