Mumbai - Everyone knows Aamir Khan's dislike for film awards. But no one has so far known what triggered it. His cousin Mansoor Khan let the cat out of the bag at the ongoing Mami festival. The entire cast of the 1992 film 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' was present on the occasion when Mansoor told the audience that Aamir had been keen to get the Filmfare award at the 1992 where the Anil Kapoor starrer 'Beta' and 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' were the top contenders. Aamir was confident that 'Jo jeeta ...' would get him the best actor's trophy . The award however went to Anil Kapoor. In fact, actor Kamal Hasan who was to give away the award also had rooted for Aamir, but destiny ruled otherwise.
And as everyone knows, Aamir turned his back on film awards ever since!
