In the wake of the #MeToo movement, director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment by a former employee of Phantom Films. While the director was lashed out on social media, his troubles are soon to increase as the victim has filed an affidavit of her complaint in Bombay High Court.
However, Bahl shrugged off the allegations and stated that he is being falsely accused. Meanwhile, Bahl’s partners at the now dissolved Phantom Films, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane have come forward in support of the victim. In response, Bahl filed a defamation case of ₹10 crore against Kashyap and Motwane.
Currently, the hearing for the case is ongoing in the High Court after the woman filed a case against the 'Queen' director. Accordingly, during the hearing of the case, she presented an affidavit for the allegations in front of the court.
The final hearing for the case has been scheduled for November 21.
