Security has been increased at all the four bungalows owned by Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan in Mumbai. This decision has been taken after Jaya Bachchan passed a statement recently at the parliament, against the allegations made by Kangana Ranaut and many others, about the functioning of Bollywood.

Samajwadi Party and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan's statement in Parliament has been appreciated by many fans and celebrities on social media. However, several did not agree with her thoughts and have trolled the Bachchan family, and keeping this in mind, officials decided to increase the security outside their residence in Mumbai's Juhu area.

Following the incident, Amitabh Bachchan also shared his thought in support of Jaya Bachchan and responded to trolls in his style. Sharing a few lines on Twitter, he said,

Earlier, BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan had spoken about Bollywood on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament after the drug connection came to light in the ongoing probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Replying to this, Jaya Bachchan, on Tuesday, criticized Ravi Kishan without mentioning his name, and her thoughts went viral on social media.

Addressing the same, she said that the people are trying to discredit Bollywood which has been spoken about in several ways for a few days now. Clarifying her thoughts she said that one can't stigmatize the entire industry just because of a few people, and she was ashamed that a member of the Lok Sabha shared such thoughts about against the film industry, despite being an integral part of it.

Meanwhile, actress Kangana Ranaut has criticized Jaya Bachchan for asking some questions. Questioning Jaya Bachchan, Kangana asked if she would have still said the same, had her daughter Shweta been beaten, given drugs and molested? Or, her son Abhishek had complained of constant bullying and harassment?
