Popular author Chetan Bhagat is back with a new film - his yet another best seller has been turned into a feature film. ‘Half Girlfriend’, which stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will seen a release soon. It is directed by Mohit Suriand shows us the complicated 'love' story of a Bihari guy named Madhav Jha who falls in love with Riya Somani, the rich girl who loves to play Basketball.

The trailer which was released recently has added to the curiosity, since Bhagat's novel turned film 'Two States' saw immense love from the fans. The tagline in the title reveals the secret to some extent -"Dost se zyada, girlfriend se kum", but as they always say - there is a lot more to it.

Here's the trailer of the film:

As seen in the trailer, Madhav is not very good with his English, but somehow works his charm and makes his way through the admissions. He falls in love with Riya, who is quite apprehensive about relationships. How they meet and what destiny holds for them, makes the wait interesting enough for Half girlfriend.

Chetan Bhagat’s style of writing has always been a different one and has resulted into the adaption of four of his six novels. Three of these - 3 idiots, Kai Po Che and 2 states - turned did please the audience and the film critics, whereas one didn’t create much of a ripple at the box office.

It's now time for Half girlfriend to make a mark. The novel has been loved, but will the film be as good as that? What say?
