Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey committed suicide on Sunday (March 26). She was 25 years old. Akanksha hanged herself at Somendra Hotel in Varanasi. Akanksha Dubey was a popular actress in the Bhojpuri entertainment industry. Her suicide has sent shockwaves through the entertainment world. She had posted her recent video on Instagram.
Akanksha had come to Varanasi to shoot for a project. Room number 105 in Hotel Sumendra Residency in Sarnath area of Varanasi was booked for her. As the door of Akanksha's room was not opened till late in the morning, the police were informed about this. After opening the door with the master key, it was revealed that Akanksha had committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan. Police are further investigating the suicide case of Akanksha Dubey.
In the Akanksha Dubey suicide case, the actress's makeup artist Rahul and hair artist Rekha Morya said, “On the evening of March 25, Akanksha had gone to a party. She looked happy. She had no stress whatsoever. She used to live life like a lioness fearing no one. Akanksha took great care of the people she worked with", he said.
Hair artist Rekha Morya told what exactly happened before Akanksha's death. She said, “Akanksha wanted to get ready for the shoot of 'Laik Hoon Main Nalaik Nahi' at 7:00 am. As she did not come out of the hotel room even after 10 o'clock, a crew member was sent to see her. Akanksha did not open the door even after knocking the door many times. The director's room was in Akanksha's side room. The sound of water was coming from her room. Perhaps she is in the bathroom, said the director. However, as the door was not opened several times, the master key was used to open the door of Akanksha's room. Then it came to light that Akanksha had committed suicide”.
Meanwhile, according to the police, no suicide note was found from Akanksha's room. Police informed that Akanksha had come to Varanasi on March 22 for the shooting of the film. Akanksha's body has been sent for post-mortem. The police said that the family members of the actress were informed about her suicide.
Akanksha's mother blames Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh for her death.

The first reaction of Akanksha's family after her death has come out. Akanksha's mother has accused famous Bhojpuri singer and actor Samar Singh of killing her daughter. Her mother Madhu Dubey says that Samar Singh and his brother killed Akanksha. “Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh worked for three years with Akanksha. He has not paid her remuneration that goes in crores. On March 21, Samar and his brother threatened to kill Akanksha. She had told us about this over the phone”, said Akanksha's mother.
Who was Akanksha Dubey?
Akanksha Dubey was born in Vindhyachal, Mirzapur. Akanksha settled in Mumbai with her parents when she was 3 years old. She gained fame from Tiktok and Instagram reels and made her film debut at the age of 17. She appeared in a Bhojpuri album with SRK Music. But her music album did not get much success and she got depressed.
She took a break from the film industry in 2018. She had decided to leave the Bhojpuri industry. But on the insistence of her mother, she agreed to work and became active in the film industry again. Akanksha Dubey appeared in superhit films like Meri Jung Mera Faisal, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Veero Ke Veer, Fighter King, Kasam Badna Wale Ki 2.
