New names are being taken almost every day in the Sushant Singh Rajput death row. On one hand, where allegations on Rhea Chakraborthy have come to the forefront, some sources have also demanded answers from Maharashtra Cabinet Minister, Aaditya Thackeray. Mumbai Police has been investigating the case since his death on June 14, 2020.
A tweet posted by a popular news publication claims that a 'minister's son' was also present at the party on June 13, 2020, at Sushant's residence in Bandra. The tweet also stated that there was a heated argument at the party and CCTV cameras were off.

Following this, several fans took to social media to express their views and offered their take on what could have happened. Kangana Ranaut's fan page 'Team Kangana Ranaut' also shared a post which read, "Everyone knows but no one can take his name, Karan Johar’s best friend and world’s best CM’s best son, lovingly called baby penguin, Kangana is saying if I found hanging in my house, please know I did not commit suicide."
On Friday, July 31, members of BJP in Bihar raised questions regarding the "silence" of Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray Sushant Singh Rajput's case. State party spokesperson Nikhil Anand wanted to know the reason over his silence, targeting the Maharashtra government.
He asked, "Sushant Singh Rajput, a young and talented artist of India, dies in suspicious circumstances in Mumbai but why are the youth leaders of Maharashtra silent? Aditya Thackeray is an important member in the Maharashtra government so why does his government not recommend a CBI inquiry in the suspicious death of a young artist? He said the youth of the country are asking questions on the silence of Aditya Thackeray, so what is the secret of his silence? Aditya Thackeray should say whether he is in favour of justice to Sushant or is he in favour of the conspirators? Anand said Aditya Thackeray must answer because his father Uddhav Thackeray is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and he also holds a position in the Maharashtra government. In the case of Sushant, the people of Bihar are constantly hearing rumours of tampering of evidence and tampering of facts, which has increased our concern. Not only this, the statement of Maharashtra's Minister of State for Home is also objectionable on the investigation of Bihar Police. For all these reasons, the people of Bihar do not trust the government of Maharashtra, Mumbai Police and a CBI investigation is the only hope."
This case has taken a new turn after Sushant's father, KK Singh and his ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande, raised allegations against Rhea Chakraborthy stating her involvement by showing proof about his bank statements and finances.
