After giving applause worthy performance in her comeback movie, English Vinglish, the legendary Sridevi is back with and as ‘Mom.’ The actress recently unveiled the poster of her upcoming movie on Twitter and has only added more excitement by adding the message “When a woman is challenged...”
The filmmakers began the shoot last year and it is expected to hit the July 14. If the industry news is to be believed the movie revolves around the ups and downs of a relationship and lives of a mother and her step-daughter.
Sridevi’s ‘focused and deep-in-thoughts’ look on the poster had added anticipation amongst the fandom. Mom will be Sridevi’s 300th film and she will be celebrating her 50 years in Indian cinema. In the recently held Zee Cine Awards the actress also thanked her family and children who she said have been very supportive throughout her career.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali, Adnan Siddiqui and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.
