Malayalam actor and dubbing artiste Prabeesh Chakkalakkal is no more. The 44-year old actor passed away after collapsing on the set. He was on the sets of a film in Kerala’s Kochi when this unfortunate incident took place. Reports suggest that he was shooting for a YouTube channel Cochin College on the subject of waster management.
As per the News Minute website, Prabeesh collapsed on the sets suddenly. Before this, he had mentioned that his tongue had gone dry and asked for water. After he collapsed, his colleagues tried to rush him to the hospital but were unable to arrange for a means of transport. They even tried to stop cars passing by but none of them stopped. Someone finally retrieved his car keys from his pockets and drove to the nearby hospital but by the time they got there, he had already dead.
Prabeesh has worked extensively in Malayam telefilms. He is survived by his father, wife, and a daughter.
The exact cause of death is not known so far. His cremation ceremony was carried out on Monday afternoon.
