Never seen such a grand scale of film release as Bahubali: PV Sunil, Carnival cinemas

Katappa ne Baahubali ko kyu maara? The answer this question is finally here, after waiting for so long director S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has been released in 9,000 theatres worldwide. In India, it is released in around 6500 screens.

The movie opened to grand release this morning with huge fan crowd queuing outside theatres to buy tickets of Baahubali2 .Since morning the movie is trending on twitter #Baahubali2.Fans in down south are celebrating Prabhas’s film in the same way as Rajnikanth’s film.

This all fantasy started with the part one of the movie that is Baahubali: The Beginning which was released in the year 2015.

Considering the demand for more shows at the theatre, Mr PV Sunil, CEO and Director of Carnival cinemas says that “The movie would cross Rs.70cr easily by this weekend.”

Adding further he said "We have never seen such a grand scale of film release in India. We at Carnival Cinemas, have 1314 shows per day and that is the highest number of shows given to a film ever at Carnival. All the morning shows had 100 percent occupancy. We had shows as early as 5.30 AM in Bengaluru and it was houseful. Advance bookings were huge 85-90 percent for Friday and for the rest of the extended weekend it is 70 percent as of now."
