Mumbai - The angst amidst the Indian citizens after the surgical attack has dampened a bit, but the patriotism is in full swing. But these two questions from veteran actor Om Puri has taken the nation by storm -
"Who had asked the soldiers to join the army? Who told them to pick the weapons?" this is not at all going down well with Indian citizens, and coming from Om Puri who played the courageous father of martyred soldier in the film Dhoop (2003). Portraying the pain and agony on the silver screen is what he knows very well, but in reality, he is totally indifferent to the attacks and sacrifice of our soldiers.Puri also expressed his support for Pakistani artists, after receiving rage reviews from nationwide, apologised for his comment.
