South Korean singer Choi Sung Bong has passed away. Choi Sung Bong, 33, was found dead at his home in Yeoksam-dong district of Seoul, South Korea. South Korean police found him dead on Tuesday morning after sharing a note on YouTube. The police suspect that he committed suicide.
According to the Korea Times, 33-year-old Sung Bong was found dead by police at his residence at 9:41 am on Tuesday. According to the police on Wednesday, he committed suicide. A note uploaded to his YouTube channel read, "I sincerely apologise to all those who have been hurt by my mistake." He said that all the donations have been returned.

He rose to fame after winning second place on Korea's Got Talent. But in 2021, he falsely claimed that he was battling multiple cancers. After this he got a huge amount. However, Sung Bong admitted his mistake after some time and promised to return all the money he received. Now, in a note shared before his death, he says that he returned the money. Fans are paying tribute to Sung Bong after the news broke that he had passed away.
