Indian TV audience across the world had a laughter riot regularly between 2004 and 2006, when the Sarabhai characters were introduced to our lives. Hats off productions’ TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai is back, but this time in the form of a web series on popular digital platform Hotstar.
Over the last few days, the platform and the family have raised anticipation with the show and the die-hard fans are only waiting for it to start soon. The dates have not been announced officially, but as reported by Pinkvilla, the show might start on May 16, 2017. Neither hotstar, nor the production house has given an official statement about the same. However, the producer JD Majethia did not deny the news either. Infact, the online publication had the quote which read, "Well, I haven't received any confirmation from the home channel's end as of now but you can definitely consider it to be the tentative date."
The makers had recently released the promo and also asked the fans to suggest the name for this new season, to which the team received a phenomenal response. The show is produced by Aatish Kapadia, who will also be seen acting in the show, and will have the same Sarabhai family starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Satish Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, Rajesh Kumar, Deven Bhojani, and Arvind Vaidya The new season which has taken a leap of seven years will see many new characters including Sahil and Monisha's son.
At least there is some news about the start date of the show. Time is nearing for the new season to begin, and we, just like others, are eagerly waiting for the laughter riot to begin!
