In a grand event of The 54th Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards, the Veteran Actress Saira Bano was honoured with the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. The event was organised in Bandra Reclamation on Saturday along with the Raj Kapoor Award and V Shantaram Awards. Present on this occasion, were cultural minister Vinod Tawde as the chief guest of the event.
Further, veteran actor Vikram Gokhale was awarded the V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award and Jackie Shroff was honoured with Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award for outstanding contribution to Hindi films. Other than this, actor Arun Nalawade was honoured for his special contribution in Marathi films.
Moreover, in the 24th Maharashtra State Marathi Film Festival, Film 'Kasav' got the first position in the best film category, whereas 'Dashchriya' got the second position in the film. Also, the film ‘Ventilator’ got the third position.
