The news of Sidharth Shukla’s death came today, September 2. He died of cardiac arrest at the age of 40. The news was confirmed by Cooper Hospital, Mumbai who further stated that a post mortem will be conducted soon.

This came as a shock for everyone in the industry and especially to his fans who were heartbroken and were quick to express grief. The late actor rose to popularity after winning Big Boss 13 and gained himself a loyal fanbase.
Several celebrities, fans and friends took on social media to mourn the loss of the actor's death.
Salman Khan who declared Sidharth Shukla the winner of BB13 gave his condolences to his family and tweeted
Besides, actor Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and expressed their condolences.

Other BB13 contestants like Asim Riaz, Vikas Gupta, etc were seen near Cooper Hospital after the news broke. Sidharth's alleged girlfriend and former Big Boss contestant Shehnaaz Gill has not yet reacted in front of the media. His friends Sargun Mehta, Kushal Tandon, Ekta Kapoor, etc. also expressed their shock.
