The heat wave in Mumbai is set to intensify further in the next three days. According to the weather department, the temperature in Mumbai is likely to increase from Monday to Wednesday. During this period, the maximum temperature in Mumbai is expected to reach 36 to 37 degrees.

The temperature in Mumbai will decrease after April 10. The Meteorological Department has also predicted that Mumbaikars will get some relief due to this. Apart from this, a yellow heat alert was issued for Konkan on April 8. The rest of the state will have cloudy weather. There is a possibility of an increase in the maximum temperature in some districts.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar recorded the highest temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius this year on Sunday. This is the record-breaking temperature of this summer. Citizens are being urged to take care to avoid the rising heat and sun.

Temperatures in India are likely to remain above normal between April and June. People will have to face intense heat during this period.

The states in the country that are going to experience heatwaves include Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
