It has been raining continuously since Thursday morning in the surrounding areas of Mumbai. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Mumbai and surrounding areas on September 7 and in the coming few days.
In the last few days, the heat has increased in Mumbai as well as in Thane. With the rains, Mumbai citizens are feeling a relief from scorching heat.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Thane including Mumbai in the next 48 hours. This is likely to provide great relief to the citizens from the scorching heat.
There was heavy rain in Mumbai in the last week of July. Following which in the month of August light to moderate rains occurred at some places in Mumbai. But now the intensity of rain is likely to increase in the city.
