Viral Video: Python rescued from Mahim beach in Mumbai

According to reports, on Monday morning, July 26, a giant python was rescued by fishermen from Mahim beach in Mumbai.

The python was spotted by fishermen and locals. However, the onlookers started making films and clicking selfies.

However, this is not the first time that a python or a snake is being spotted in the city during monsoon.

Similarly, last year a huge python was spotted at a footpath near the Maharashtra Nature Park in Mumbai's Mahim area. The enormous reptile is estimated to be as long as 8 to 10 feet. Soon after the snake was spotted, videos of it slithering from the footpath back to the nature park started surfacing on social media. In the video, a few locals can also be seen gathered around to watch the serpent.

In another incident that took place in October, a number of snakes were found across residential areas in Mumbai, over the last few weeks. As per reports published a few days ago, a snake was found at Dadar's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maidan (Shivaji Park) and increased the panic among the visitors and residents. The snake was spotted near Shivaji Park Gymkhana.
