Wadala railway police on Friday organized a meeting of people residing in slums adjacent to the railway lines from Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar to Wadala station.


The meeting was called in order to educate people about the increasing rail accidents. The drive was carried out by the police to spread the message ‘Be Safe’.

Wadala railway police, senior inspector IB Sorade guided people by talking about the dangers of trespassing and unauthorized rail crossing.  Sorade also said that people should not throw stoles, colours, water ballons on the trains during the festival of holi as this may lead to a serious injuries to commuters.
