Lalbaugcha Raja is one of the most decorated and celebrated Ganpatis of Mumbai, and during the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, the area witnesses a number of people seeking Lord Ganesha's blessing. 

Amid huge crowd at Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja, there was a scuffle recorded between police officials and some volunteers in the Pandal’s premises. As the crowd was in huge numbers, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abhinash Kumar was guiding the devotees to move fast.

Meanwhile, some people were moving in the opposite direction of the queue. After noticing, the police officials tried to remove them and which led to a scuffle between volunteers and the police.

Apparently, the people were known to the volunteers and they were trying to get them in. However, the matter ended quickly.

While handling the crowd, some people were coming from the opposite direction. After they were stopped, the volunteers started arguing with the police.” Deputy Commissioner Abhinash Kumar informed Mumbai Live.
