Master Chef Nicola Kadmos of JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is all set to take over the JW Café Kitchen to discover the finest nuances of Levantine cuisine. Arabesque, an exciting 10-day pop up menu starting August 20, 2018 will present traditional Arabic dishes incorporating elements from Chef Nicola’s rich culinary experience of over 15 years in large parts of Eastern Mediterranean regions such as Fujairah, Dubai, Qatar and Syria.




The city will witness a flavourful journey that transports you to the very heart of a bustling medina in the Middle East with the healthiest, freshest, delicious delicacies such as the Kibbeh Bil Thum (traditional lamb meat balls filled with burghul and pine nuts served with garlic yoghurt sauce), Halloumi Makli (fried Halloumi cheese with traditional pickle), Mashawi Mushkala (mixed grill served with oriental rice and biwaas), Saz the traditional flatbread filled with zataar and cheese, Rubiyan Majboos (grilled tiger prawns with majboos rice) Lamb Manakeesh (flat bread filled with lamb mince, served with garlic sauce), Lamb Ouzi Kabsah (kid lamb cooked whole with rice and traditional spices).



An array of Mezzeh such as the classic Hummus made with chickpeas ground with tahina paste flavored with olive oil, Moutabel made using char-grilled eggplants blended with tahina paste and garlic and Fattoush toasted Arabic bread salad with cucumber, tomato, olive oil, vinegar and pomegranate sauce, Chicken Shawarma a traditional lebanese chicken sandwich marinated in garlic and lemon and cooked on a rotisserie grill wrapped in Arabic bread served with salad, pickles and garlic sauce.



Round off the meal on a sweet note with traditional middle eastern desserts such as Kunafa, Baklava, Umm-ali, Kataifi that will be a part of this special pop up menu.



A moveable feast of small plates will make your taste buds swoon, the air suffused with an enticing medley of spices, pulses, meats, seafood and vegetables – transports all the magic of this great Levantine cuisine to your own table at JW Café, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar.
