Ahead of their clash against Odisha FC (OFC) in the Indian Super League 2019, Mumbai City FC coach, Jorge Costa has expressed his absolute trust in the 25 players in his roster. The Islanders' coach said,
I have 25 players and I trust all of them."
As Mumbai City FC are all set to face Odisha FC, they will enter the field undefeated with four points in their dolly. Owing to which Costa said,
"We played two very difficult games in 72 hours and it was not the best result we could get. I would have been the happiest coach if we had got six points but I am happy with players and their performance."
When asked about whether Mumbai City FC were missing the services of Lucian Goain, Costa answered,
We have a solid defence and are not dependent on a single player. As I said earlier, I have 25 players and I trust all of them. They are the best"
With an exceptional start this season, the Islanders' coach said that last year he made some mistakes which led to Mumbai beginning their campaign with a loss. But this year, he stated that he had learnt and has said will try to avoid the same mistakes.
Meanwhile, Costa was all praises for the goalkeeper, Amrinder Singh,
I am very happy with my goalkeeper. He's a very good goalkeeper and has given his best so far. It feels good when you win but football is a team game. When we score we all score. When we concede a goal, we all concede a goal."
