One of the biggest community football league will begin today at the Dubhasi maidan, Vile Parle east. The 7th Season of VPPL looks bigger and better. The tournament will begin with the inaugural match for the U 14 Junior league between Parle Tilak Vidyalaya vs Sporko at 7 pm.
Later Parle Roaring Horizon will take on Parle Wanderers and Parle Valuables will take on Parle United. This league will continue till the 26th May when the finals will be played. The franchise-based football league will cater to the age group of 15-24 and will see an inclusion of two divisions of eight teams each. Also seen will be a girls tournament as well as a U-16 competition.
