Panvel records 134 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, the Panvel Municipal Corporation has recorded 134 new cases of coronavirus, the total number of coronavirus cases now stands at 4,469.

In the last 24 hours, the Panvel Municipal Corporation has recorded 134 new cases of coronavirus. With the addition of these new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the area now stands at 4,469.

Out of the new cases found 32 are from Panvel, 17 from New Panvel, eight from Khanda Colony, 21 from Kalamboli, 19 from Kamothe, 22 from Kharghar, and 15 from Taloja.

The Panvel Municipal Corporation has been making efforts in order to control the spread of the virus. Although Panvel is still under strict lockdown, there is still an increase in the number of cases. It has been decided that by the municipal corporation that the lockdown will be extended till 26th July in Panvel.

Seven deaths were recorded on Thursday in the Panvel region. Out of these, three were from Panvel, two from New Panvel, one from Kalamboli, and one from Kamothe area. So far 107 deaths have been reocrded in PMC’s region.

139 people also recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. 25 are from Panvel, 20 from New Panvel, 18 from Kalamboli, 36 from Kamothe, 35 from Kharghar, and 5 from Taloja.

So far 2,890 patients have been recovered in the Panvel region and 1,472 patients are being treated.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Mumbai is 97,950
