Navi Mumbai reported 145 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The addition of these new cases pushed the total count of COVID-19 patients in this area to 45,288 including 3 more fatalities.  

On Friday, 21 new cases were found in Belapur, 20 in Nerul, 9 in Vashi, 12 in Turbhe, 23 in Koparkhairane, 17 in Ghansoli, 41 in Airoli and 2 in Digha. In total 158 people have been cured. While in Belapur 45, Nerul 32, Vashi 15, Turbhe 15, Koparkhairane 24, Ghansoli 15, Airoli 7, Digha 5 cases have been cured.

The total number of cured patients is 42,855. The death toll has increased to 918. At present 1,515 patients are undergoing treatment in Navi Mumbai. The recovery rate is 94 per cent.

As per reports, nearly 30 per cent of the total COVID-19 cases in Navi Mumbai did not require hospitalisation. They have recovered through home isolation and treatment over a phone call from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC).
