Ayurvedic Cancer Hospital to come in Bhandup

Bhandup – Union Ayush minister Shripad Naik said that Central government will build an Ayurvedic Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Bhandup. He was addressing media persons after inspecting the location for this hospital and research centre here. The Central government has approved this Rs 500 crore worth project which will come up on 2.780 acre land and on 4,87,000 sqft in Bhandup East. The hospital and research centre will have all the advanced medical care facilities and it would an ideal in the state, hoped Naik. For OPD patients, 300 beds are being reserved while 500 beds will be for other patients. The construction work of this hospital will begin in 2017. MP Kirit Somaiya had followed up this project. Union government had transferred this CPW land to the Ayush Ministry for the construction of this cancer hospital and research centre.
