For the last few days, Mumbaikars are facing humidity and terrible heat. If Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) is to be believed, Mumbaikars will have to face the heat for the next two days. Prior to this, Mumbai witnessed heavy rainfall following which humidity has increased by 6% as per IMD officials.


Doctors are advising people to take care of their skin as it can be damaged.

If you have a job which requires staying outdoors then you can face dehydration. Apart from this, one can face vomiting, diarrhea, viral infection, breathing problems and heat stroke. So, while stepping out, do carry a bottle of water and should avoid drinking outside sherbats and juices,” Dr. Sagar Kajbaje, consultant physician.



Excessive sweat can cause skin infection, so one should avoid wearing tight clothes. Drink lots of water which helps the skin to remain hydrated,” Dr. Uday Khopkar, Dermatologist, KEM Hospital.
