They had set up an anti-ragging committee to resolve the issues and soon after the incident, it was flooded with complaints.

Recently, Nair Hospital conducted a meeting for all resident doctors where the dean, Dr. Ramesh Bharmal said that owing to the recent events, the hospital atmosphere has been tense. Therefore the dean and other doctors from the psychiatry department held a workshop to give impetus to a friendly atmosphere in the hospital. They further said that as the junior and senior doctors are colleagues, they shouldn't be referring to each other as ma'am and sir.

They even told the third-year resident doctors that they should always reach out to help the junior doctors irrespective of their work pressure as it's their duty to manage the patients as well as help the juniors. The dean even addressed the students and said that Nair Hospital will soon outsource a counsellor to solve doctors' grievance and any case of ragging should be immediately reported and strict action would be taken.
