Mahanagar gas has acknowledged getting these complaints and they are inspecting the matter. However, they have added that they have not come across any breach that could have resulted in a gas leak.

There is no reply from BMC on this matter so far.
This is not the first time that people in Ghatkopar have complained of a gas leak. in June 2020 too there was a similar report of a possible gas leak. However, authorities were unable to trace the source of the smell and the matter was soon dismissed.
This is a developing story and we will be updating this as soon as we get more information regarding this matter.
