Maharashtra Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Chhagan Bhujbal has tested positive for COVID-19, he took his Twitter to inform everyone about his health.

Maharashtra Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Chhagan Bhujbal has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). 

Bhujbal took to his Twitter share the update and wrote that he has tested positive for the viral infection. He also urged all those who came in his contact in the last few days to get themselves tested for the infection. "I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those who came in my contact over the past two-three days should get themselves tested. My health is fine and there is no reason to worry. All citizens should take proper care in the backdrop of COVID-19. Should wear masks and use sanitisers regularly." Bhujbal tweeted in Marathi.

Bhujbal is the seventh minister to be infected by the novel coronavirus this month.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Bachchu Kadu, Rajendra Shingne, Jayant Patil, Rajesh Tope, Satej Patil, Anil Deshmukh, Dadaji Bhuse, Eknath Shinde, Uday Samant, Prajakt Tanpure, Sunil Kedar, Balasaheb Patil, Varsha Gaikwad, Jitendra Awhad, Ashok Chavan, Dhananjay Munde, Aslam Shaikh, Abdul Sattar and Sanjay Bansode are some of the ministers in Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's cabinet to have tested positive for COVID-19.
