Under the National Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Screening Program, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) conducts daily health check-ups of men and women above the age of 30 at hospitals and Urban Primary Health Centers (UPHCs). The screening includes checking for:

  • High Blood Pressure

  • Diabetes

  • Oral Cancer

  • Breast Cancer

  • Cervical Cancer

If any symptoms or suspicion are found, the patients are referred to the Public Hospital in Nerul for further examination.


Cancer Screening Van Drive (May 21-24, 2025)

As part of this initiative, a Cancer Screening Van is being sent by the Government to Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation from May 21 to 24, 2025. The van will conduct free screenings for:

  • Oral Cancer

  • Breast Cancer

  • Cervical Cancer

This drive is organised by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

All men and women aged 30 years and above living in Navi Mumbai are requested to visit their nearest Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) for routine screening under the National NCD Program. If any signs of cancer are found, they should visit the Cancer Van at the scheduled locations and dates for further examination. This appeal is issued on behalf of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde.
