Non-pharmacists to turn pharmacists?

Non-pharmacists to turn pharmacists?
SHARES

Mumbai – Workers at chemists' shops, there is good news for you. Those non pharmacists who have worked for the past five years will henceforth be certified as pharmacists, according to a proposal by the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists. The Maharashtra Registered Pharmacists Association has however registered its protest against the proposal saying that training for a short span of six months is not enough to turn the non-pharmacist into a registered pharmacist. The Maharashtra Registered Pharmacists Association has now raised a question - how will you provide training to those non- pharmacists in six months, which a pharmacist gains after studying for four years?
