The Podar Ayurvedic Hospital has decided to roll back their decision of not allowing resident doctors and students to stay in a hostel. But this did not affect students who have decided to continue their indefinite hunger strike.
Students are of the view that unless and until the hospital officials don't take a concrete step towards hostel facilities, they will continue their indefinite hunger strike.

On Thursday, when a delegation of students met hospital’s dean Dr Govind Khatti agreed to some of the demands and gave it in writing as well.

For the last 13 days, students and doctors have been protesting against the hospital’s management. According to the student’s delegation, dean gave it in a written that he would allow resident doctors to reside in a hostel on a temporary basis, will provide basic amenities and will see to it that students will not face any problems during exams. However, students are demanding that the state should oust dean Khatti.

Many of the teachers are pressurising students to revoke their demand of replacing dean. However, students and doctors are firm in their decision.
