CIDCO has asked applications for more than 14 thousand houses in Navi Mumbai’s Ghansoli, Dronagiri, Kalamboli, Talojaor, and Khargar area. The registration process for these houses has been started from August 13. A CIDCO official claimed that more than 35 thousand people have registered for the houses in just one week.

However, for MHADA’s 9,018 houses, 63,913 people have registered in 28 days. According to the statistics, CIDCO has crossed 50 per cent of MHADA’s registration number in just one week. CIDCO official speculated that the numbers can reach up to a lakh as the last date for registration is September 16.
