Mumbai - The state government has asked MMRDA to extend the proposed Mumbai coastal road from Marve to Ghodbunder Road. The BMC’s coastal road project will be constructed in two phases. The coastal road will have 8 lanes, with two dedicated bus lanes for the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS). The project will reclaim around 186 hectares of land, out of which, 91 hectares will be developed as green space.
