Commuters walk on tracks as Metro breaks down

Mumbai – The technical problems in the overhead wires disrupted Metro service in the city today.

The Metro service on Thursday afternoon running between Ghatkopar and Airport Road stations broke down. Commuters, stranded on the train, started walking on the tracks towards the next station. This video was shared on twitter by a commuter. The problem has since been resolved and the service has resumed.

This is one of the few times that the usually efficient Metro has broken down in Mumbai.
