The passenger from there reaches Vasai, Virar area by shuttle service from Panvel, Diva railway station from Upper Kopar railway station.

The Upper Kopar railway station saves passengers the hassle of taking a detour to Dadar and going to Vasai. Most of the traders going to Gujarat, Vapi go to Vasai, Virar area from Upper Kopar railway station. Then they go to Gujarat from Borivali, Vasai, Palghar. The rush of passengers at Upper Kopar railway station has increased. There was a narrow pedestrian staircase leading from the underground station to the Upper Koper railway station.

Passengers used to throng this staircase morning and evening. During the rainy season, there was a stampede of passengers while carrying an umbrella. Keeping in view the increasing crowd at Kopar railway station, the Central Railway Administration had started the construction of a pedestrian bridge between the underground and upper Kopar railway stations last year. This work is now complete. Considering the increasing load of pedestrians on the old bridge, the railway administration has immediately opened the new bridge for traffic.
