After the establishment of 'MahaRERA’' in the state, project registration has been made mandatory and all the details of court cases related to the project have been made mandatory on the 'MahaRERA’ website. As a result, the prices of such projects i.e. houses stuck in judicial process have decreased by 5 to 6 percent. A large amount of transparency in the construction sector has been concluded by four scholars from the University of Manchester in an essay released after researching housing projects before and after the implementation of the Real Estate Act in the country.

The researchers have also taken note of the efforts of 'MahaRERA’ to make the legal cases related to the project and the information about the overall project easily available on the website.

In this essay, after the establishment of 'MahaRERA’ , how the construction sector in the state has changed and how it has had positive effects has been highlighted. It also mentions that after the implementation of 'MahaRERA’ , the developers have been made mandatory to make available all the information about the project on the website, so there has been transparency in the construction sector.
