MHADA published the advertisement on July 17 and July 18 onwards, registrations have started. Without registration, one will not be able to fill up the form. Those who will register by August 8, they will be able to fill up and submit the form by August 10, 2018.

Registration will continue for 24 hours

On Wednesday, between 2:00 and 7:00 pm, 800 people registered their names on the MHADA website. As the registrations will be open for 24 hours, the final list will be cleared by August 8.

Maharashtra Housing Development Authority (MHADA) believes in providing affordable homes to people who belong to economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income groups (LIG). Likewise, the rates of the houses are decided. However, when the Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a wing of MHADA, announced the lottery, it mostly focussed on people of the high-income group (HIG). Rates of the houses that have been allotted for the HIG are similar to those allotted for LIG.
