Maharashtra Housing Development Authority (MHADA) Konkan Board released a lottery of 9018 houses. Though not many applied for the lottery, MHADA created history by giving out offer letters to the winners. Usually, it takes 1-4 years but Konkan Board handed over the offer letter in just 48 hours.
As there are many ready-to-move-in apartments under Konkan board, the latter decided to handover the offer letters to the winners. On the very second day of lottery, MHADA had organised a special camp where 2000 winners were handed the letters.
On August 25, 2018, MHADA’s Konkan board released a lottery for over 9,000 houses at MHADA headquarters at Bandra. The lottery was released by Home Minister Prakash Mehta and Education Minister Vinod Tawde. Ranjani Vyas became the first winner of the Konkan Board lottery.
