Mumbai- MHADA homes are always in demand. However, in the last few years, comman man is not able to afford MHADA homes. Though it is cheaper in comparison with private builder but is expensive for comman man. Many people have surrendered their homes back to MHADA.
47 people have surrendered their MHADA homes which were allotted to them in 2016. According to the MHADA officers, people are surrendering their homes due to financial constraint. Meanwhile, these 47 homes have been allotted to those who were in waiting list.
