Mumbai- Residents of MHADA buildings are jeopardizing their lives by residing in decaying MHADA buildings. These buildings are 60 years old and are in bad condition. However, development of these buildings is stuck in red-tapism. “We were told that our buildings will be developed but nothing was done by the congress led government. Then BJP led government gave us hopes but we only got assurances and hollow promises. These buildings are getting dangerous day by day. Instead of dying in these dilapidated buildings we have chosen the path of protest,” said Adv. Hari Shashtri, a protestor.
