Soon, Girgaon residents will be shifted to hotels and this will be done by Mumbai Metro Corporation Ltd (MMRC) for carrying out tunnel machine work for the ambitious Metro 3 project.
MMRC believes that tunnel work will affect nearby buildings and so people have been asked to vacate homes and move to nearby hotels. In the month of June and July, tunnel machine and other equipment will be coming to Mumbai. But prior to this, the survey will be carried out and MMRC will check if tunnel machine poses any danger to the buildings or not. Residents are shocked and are not at all happy with MMRC’s decision.
