Mumbai- Metro users will have to shell out more money as Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL) has decided to hike the Metro fares. However, this has upset the MMRDA officials. MMOPL has signed a contract with the MMRDA officials which states that they will not hike fares for 8 years. However, MMRDA has decided to go to court as MMOPL decided to hike fares thus breaching the agreement.
