The Metro-3 (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ) project construction during the night has been inactive for the last 38 days. Because of this, the project progress has been slacking according to Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC).

MMRC’s request of working late nights has been refuted by the Bombay High Court, once again, and for the next couple of weeks, this decision will hold firm.

Robin Jaisinghaniya, a Cuffe Parade resident, had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court claiming that the Metro-3 project was causing a lot of noise and demanded INR 10,000 each for his family members as compensation from MMRC.

The court heard his plea and instructed MMRC to not continue work after 10:00 pm. This decision was made on August 11.
