On Thursday afternoon, March 24, a raging fire engulfed vast stretch of grass atop Parsik hill at CBD Belapur in Thane, Maharashtra.
According to reports, the fire brigade managed to douse the flames after a night-long operation.
Moreover, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) had cut off the power supply in that area to avoid any mishap.

Earlier, a fire broke out on February 15 in the Aarey colony area of Mumbai. According to reports, as many as three fire tenders have reached the spot to douse the flames. The blaze reportedly started in the grass banks near Royal Palms Society and Royal Palms Hotel. The cause of the blaze is uncertain as of now. However, no casualties or damage to property has been reported so far.
