The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) demolished 13 illegal buildings on Monday, June 28. The demolitions were reportedly ordered by TMC Commissioner Dr Vipin Sharma.
These 13 structures were located in Wada-Manpada and Kalwa Prabhag wards.

A total of eight unauthorized structures and one room were demolished in Kasarvadavali, while three illegal elevations of a building were removed in Balkum, and one in Kalwa.
The Commissioner has directed officials to continue taking action against illegal structures in their respective wards.
