State-level professional kabaddi competition has been organised to mark the celebration of the Silver Jubilee of 'Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Trust'. In the men's A match, Air India defeated Bombay Port Trust by 34-17 points.

Air India was in the driver seat from the start of the match. In the interim, the Air India team had a lead of 18-9. Air India's Siddharth Desai and Manoj Dhool played remarkably. Shubham Kumbhar and Shivraj Jadhav of Bombay Port Trust challenged them however, they did not achieve the expected success.
In the women 'A' group, Yajman Suvarna Yug defeated Sahyadri Sports Establishment 51-14 to win a big win at the home ground. Deepika Joseph and Ishwari Kondhalkar, an international class player of Suvarna Yug gave a hardcore performance. Komal Zori and Harshada Sonawane supported with a blistering performance powering their team towards victory.
This tournament was inaugurated by minister Dilip Kamble and Pune Mayor Mukta Tilak. Ashok Godse, president of Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust was also present on this occasion.
